I'm a researcher, writer, teacher and trainer working on health equity, health policy, and the well-being of low-wage workers.  With 15 years of experience in health communications, much of my work focuses on decoding complex health insurance information to make it accessible to the people who need care.  My current research explores home care work, and how the structure of these demanding jobs affects front-line workers and their clients.
